We’re working with EMBL-EBI and Nvidia to deliver on the data sharing and analysis side of We look forward to exploring further partnerships during the pilot phase of this project.

EMBL’s European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) is a global leader in the storage, analysis and dissemination of large biological datasets. We help scientists realise the potential of 'big data' by enhancing their ability to exploit complex information to make discoveries that benefit humankind. EMBL-EBI is providing its expertise in biodiversity genomics, metadata standards, data coordination and data dissemination. All of the data produced by the project will be made freely available through the EMBL-EBI European Nucleotide Archive (ENA) to support new scientific discoveries and conservation research on some of the globally most endangered species.

NVIDIA will provide the research teams access to the UK’s fastest supercomputer, Cambridge-1, which harnesses NVIDIA’s latest DGX A100 systems to run DNA analysis in hours instead of what had previously been days.
